Asking kids what they want to be when they grow up seems to be an easy way to get to know what they are interested in but it is too often how we categorise them. Even though this question is typically asked with the best of intentions, it can also end up having a lasting impact on how kids see themselves... 

We most commonly associate a brand with a company or product – like Nike, Coca Cola, Virgin or Apple. When we think about a well-known brand, we can typically associate immediate words and feelings based on what we know of, or how we have experienced the company or product – for example, innovative, trust-worthy, global, unique, fun, a good employer etc...
