What is UCAT?

 

UCAT stands for University Clinical Aptitude Test.  UCAT is a two hour computer based test consisting of multiple-choice questions. It is divided into five sections: Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning and Situational Judgement.

 

What are the key dates for UCAT 2019?

 

1 March 2019                Registration and booking open

16 May 2019                  Registration closes

17 May 2019                  Final booking deadline

1 July 2019                    Testing begins

31 July  2019                  Last testing date

Early September 2019   Results delivered to universities

September 2019            Deadline to apply to admissions bodies

 

How can I register to sit UCAT?

 

You are required to complete a two-step process using the Pearson VUE online registration system to register than book a test. For further details please click here

 

You can sit UCAT in your final year of high school and any year thereafter.
