We spent a lovely afternoon in Darwin on arrival, visiting the Mindle Beach markets and enjoying the sunset on the beach. Monday saw a lazy morning before a long check-in and delayed flight tested all of our patience. We finally arrived in Timor and drank in the warm thick air and high humidity. The short drive to the orphanage had the students excited with some already declaring to come back. We were warmly welcomed at the orphanage and amazed by the changes. The girls are enjoying nice toilets and rooms but no air conditioning. We enjoyed a shared meal with the children followed by a sing a long. So much joy!
