We enjoyed a sleep in and some downtime at the Bakhita centre before heading to Dili to meet Timor’s Minister of Education. We shared with the minister our relationship that has been formed with Hatólia and pledge of an exchange. Students asked questions and Minister was able to privide context to Timor economic situation and the priorities of the country. Time was spent shopping at the tais market buying gifts for family before heading to a much-anticipated swim at the Timor Lodge hotel pool, pizza and hot showers.
