Office 365 - Self-Reset Forgotten Password - recovery email setup

18.11.2021

Important: Using Office 365 you can reset a forgotten school password from any device with an internet connection, without seeing a teacher or the ICT Department. For this to work, Office 365 requires a recovery method to be setup first, which is used for verification.

This article will show you how to do both; firstly setup a recovery method, and then reset your password once you have done so.

If you do not know your password and have not set-up a recovery email address please ask your teacher or IT to reset your password.

SETTING UP A RECOVERY METHOD

Staff and Students are provided with 3 different recovery methods:

  1. Personal Email Address
  2. Mobile Phone Number
  3. Security Questions (Min. 4)

Steps to setup:

1. Follow this link (or select the Forgot my password button) and sign-in with your TWC Office 365 details.

2. You will see a window asking you to re-enter your password. Proceed to then enter a recovery method of your choice.

3. Select, enter, confirm, and verify your details on Office 365.

*Post-note: If you have any issues with the steps in setting this up, please see or contact the TWC ICT Department.*

RESETTING YOUR PASSWORD
