Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and the BYOD Approach in 2019.

05.02.19

In 2018 students in Years 10, 11 and 12 were required to BYOD, and from Term 1 2019, the Bring Your Own Device approach will also become an expectation for Tension Woods College students in Years 8 and 9.

This approach has developed from the premise that current and future students are from a digital generation and to prepare them for the future the use of technology offers the opportunity to support students to transform the learning environment and to meet student future needs. Furthermore, BYOD supports anytime, anywhere collaborative learning environments. BYOD is a progressive step forward in the evolution of student learning at Tenison Woods College where students will become digitally competent.

For updated steps for both parents and students and for more information about the BYOD program, please visit here
