06.04.17

The Wattle Range Council Youth Recognition Awards took place in Penola on Wednesday 5 April 2017.

Congratulations to Year 12 Tenison Woods College student Lucy Williams for winning in the category of ‘Overcoming Challenging Life Situation’. This category recognises an individual who has turned a negative situation into a positive. They have had the courage to get through a bad situation and show great resilience and determination. This person is someone who inspires others.

It’s the second time the awards were held and are part of the celebrations for National Youth Week.

The Council recognises the important and valuable contribution youth make to our community. To acknowledge this contribution, The Wattle Range invited the public to nominate youth between the ages of 12-25 years in a variety of categories.

Tenison Woods College would like to congratulate Lucy on this excellent recognition.
