Coming soon to Tenison Woods College – After School Mini Makers Club

We are very excited to be starting a new initiative in Term 2, 2017 – The Tenison Woods College Mini Makers Club. This is an opportunity for children to participate in a range of problem based activities using a variety of skills such as; collaboration and group work, designing, creating, evaluating, modifying and re-evaluating. The club will get together once a week, after school in the library. More information regarding times and classes involved will be sent out towards the end of this term. Currently we are looking for donations of the following items to use as part of the projects;

  • Lego
  • Cardboard Boxes (preferably collapsed)
  • Newspaper
  • Plastic cups
  • String, Rope or Wool
  • Straws
  • Paper and plastic plates
  • Rubber bands
  • Popsticks
  • Pegs
  • Toothpicks

If you have any of these items you are able to donate please place them in the tubs provided at the Front Office.
