Exclaimer cloud should be automatically installed on your school PC. If not, and you need to download it visit the following page and click the download now icon.

How Exclaimer works

 

Exclaimer uses cloud hosted signature templates specifically built for each target audience [admin staff, teachers, ESO's etc] and uses information from the staff directory to populate each template.

The exclaimer agent [software installed on each PC] checks this cloud service for hosted signatures and updates and downloads them to Outlook on the PC.

Outlook on the web and mobile devices do not have the exclaimer agent, so the cloud service attaches the signature AFTER the email is sent on its way to the recipient.

 

   Microsoft Outlook

Signatures are automatically populated in Microsoft Outlook when composing an email - you can view the signature before the email is sent.

OWA signatures are added in the cloud. Meaning that you will not see the signature whilst composing your email but it will be delivered to the recipient.

 

   Mobile Devices

Mobile signatures are added in the cloud [same as OWA]. The signature is added after the email is sent.

 

IMPORTANT:  When composing an email from a mobile device or webmail there will not be a signature added until after the email is sent.

If you do have one there is a chance your signature will be doubled up.

 

 

When using a mobile device the recipient receives my signature but also receives "Sent from my iPhone" along with it.

Exclaimer is unable to remove content from the message body meaning this line that your mobile adds in will need to be removed manually from Mail settings on your mobile.

 iPhone - Settings --> Mail --> Signature. Remove the text in the signature field.

 

The details in my signature are incorrect

If your signature details are incorrect or missing or change please contact TWC IT Dept and they can be updated in the database which will automatically update your signature.

This would include your name, position, phone, fax, mobile, email address

 

I have a different banner than I should

Try restarting your computer. If this does not update your banner it means your PC is having trouble contacting the Exclaimer update server to download the new banner. Please contact IT and we can re-install the exclaimer cloud software which will then check for an update.

It is also possible the software did not install in the initial rollout. So will need to be installed.
