How to - Access shared OneNote Files

25.02.2019

When you receive a link to a shared OneNote Notebook from your teacher, please follow the steps below.

You will receive an email that looks like the following image. You will need to click Open on the email.

You will be brought to the following internet page where you will be required to sign in with your school email account. e.g. s...@tenison.catholic.edu.au

Once you have logged in, the OneNote you have selected will open and you should be able to access it.

If you would like to open the file in the OneNote app installed on your device, click Open in OneNote as shown below.

If your email link to the OneNote file does not work and comes up with an error, please follow the steps shown below.

Step 1:

Go to the Tenison Woods College Portal page and click on Office 365.

Step 2:

Log in with your school email (e.g. s...@tenison.catholic.edu.au) and the following page should appear.

Then, click OneNote.

Step 3:

Once you are in OneNote there will be three options at the top of your page. Select Shared with me. Then select the notebook that you wish to open.

If you run into any issues, please see or contact the TWC ICT Department. You can log a support ticket through the TWC Portal Page. (See Page).
