We were delighted with our students’ performances at last week’s Mount Gambier Choral and Vocal Eisteddfod. The Eisteddfod began with a variety of choir sections,
and we received some fantastic comments and adjudication. The choir results were:
• Year 4 Choir – 2 x first place
• Year 5 /6 Choir – 1 x first place, 1x second place
• Senior Boys Ensemble – 1 x first place
• Senior Girls Ensemble – 1 x first place, 1x second place
• Senior Vocal Ensemble – 2 x first place
The Eisteddfod then moved into individual and duet/trio sections, and we had a large contingent of our students involved. All students should be very proud of their efforts. Students who received awards were: Ruby Bullock (first place), Azaya Seneviratne (first place), Harlow Dalton (2 x first place, 1 x second place), Hannah Tippins (1x second place, 1 x third place), Arshia Gulati (1 x first place, 3 x second place), Scarlett Strachan (5 x first place), Ella Williams (2 x first place, 2 x second place, 3 x third place, 1 x Honourable Mention), Luca Hamilton (2 x first place, 1 x second place), Gabe Strachan (4 x first place), Jake Parker (1 x first place, 1 x second place, 2 x third place, 1 x HM), Alida Brokken (1 x first place, 1 x third place), Max Grubb (1 x second place), Alannah Phillips (1 x first place, 2 x second place) and Halle Zwar (5 x first place, 2 x second place).
