Our inaugural Junior Performing Arts Bootcamp soared to new heights over two action-packed days! Year 5/6 choir members, Year 6 band students, and select Year 6 drama club participants came together to build skills, learn new scripts and music, and discover the magic of collaboration.
Under the exciting 'How to Train Your Dragon' theme, students were divided into teams for thrilling activities and challenges. Congratulations to Team "STOICK" (the purple team) for claiming victory in our bootcamp competition! The experience wasn't just about individual growth—students learned to balance and support each other's voices and sounds while exploring creative ideas through team-building activities. Confidence soared as they rehearsed throughout both days, mastering new parts and techniques. The program culminated in a spectacular Friday night concert where family and friends witnessed the remarkable progress our young performers achieved in just two days. The enthusiasm was infectious, with students already asking when they can return for another bootcamp adventure!
