Year 2 Parent Connection Afternoon

03.07.25

Our recent Year 2 Parent Engagement Afternoon was a wonderful celebration of student learning and creativity. Families were invited to visit our classrooms, where students proudly shared their amazing animal Information Reports and Animal Habitat dioramas.

Throughout the term, students have been busy researching a variety of animals, learning about their unique features, diets, and habitats. They transformed their findings into detailed Information Reports, demonstrating impressive research and writing skills. Parents had the opportunity to read these reports and ask students about the fascinating facts they discovered.

The students also shared their Animal Habitat Dioramas. Each student created a miniature habitat to showcase their chosen animal’s environment.

Thank you to all the families who attended and supported our young learners. We are so proud of the curiosity, effort, and confidence our Year 2 students have shown.
