Year 11 students recently travelled to the stunning Halls Gap in Gariwerd Land (the Grampians), for their retreat where they had the opportunity to deepen their connections with each other, with God, and with God's beautiful creation. Over three days of growth, fun, and reflection, students also explored the legacy of Senior School Founder Father Julian Tenison Woods, whose passion for education for all and appreciation of the natural world continues to inspire our College community. The Retreat offered a valuable break from daily routines, encouraging students to reflect on themselves, their relationships, and their shared future as a cohort. This experience strengthened their sense of unity and motivation as they continue their learning, faith, and personal journeys.
Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
