The Year 11 Outdoor Education students have been studying 'Water in our Landscape', and recently have been focusing on revegetation and native plant species. The students visited the Mount Gambier Community Nursery, in which they got some hands-on experience with native seedlings in the nursery. They got to work picking out tiny Melaleuca squamea seedlings – one of the rarer ‘edge of swamp’ species that will be planted at Mt Burr Swamp later this year. Their
visits were educational and contributed to real life revegetation projects! Great work!
