At the end of last term, Tenison Woods College Year 9/10 Football (Soccer) Academy hosted Westminster School, who brought a young, enthusiastic Year 8/9 squad to play a one-off 11-a-side match on Aston Fields. The sun was shining, and the players took to the field to test out their skills having undergone a rigorous pre-season. Noah Corfield, Thomas Damhuis and Solomon Htoo all hit the target more than once, whilst collectively also striking the woodwork on several other occasions. The teams also grouped together to face-off in games of Futsal to develop the younger players. All games were played with good sportsmanship, and we look forward to developing the relationship with the Adelaide-based school in the future.
