Last Friday, we held our annual Caritas BIG Water Walk in which students walked laps of our oval whilst carrying water, challenging the students to consider those with less fortunate circumstances. The walk aims to raise awareness and walk in solidarity with those around the world who walk many kilometres for basic essentials (clean water, food, health care and education.) Our Mission Leaders presented to students across the College, discussing the circumstances of each person displayed on story boards and the meaning behind the Big Water Walk. Over $1800 was raised by our College.
Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
