Over the past weeks, our Year 10 Outdoor Education students have been busy preparing for and completing an epic adventure in The Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park. Each class was set the task of completing a two day hike from Halls Gap to Borough Huts, via Stony Creek Camp. Whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery, students trekked to peaks such as The Pinnacle and Mt Rosea. To compliment the hiking element of the experience, each group participated in a day of rock climbing and abseiling at Bundaleer. Enthusiasm was high, nerves were tested and significant trust between the group was developed. Warm showers and home cooked meals were well deserved after 3 gruelling but highly rewarding days away.
