Last Friday we celebrated the opening exhibition of Finding the Fab 5 at The Riddoch Arts and Cultural Centre as part of SALA. Students worked with a team from the University of Adelaide and then crafted this exhibition with themes of local marine park life and connections to Boandik Country. After the opening formalities, art goers listened to talks by artists Scarlett Strachan and Timothy Noble, followed by a thought-provoking speech by Uncle Ken. The exhibition is on until 25 August on the King’s Floor and entry is free.
Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
