In 2023 some of our high-achieving students in Years 7, 8 and 9 were invited to participate in the ACER Advance Awards Competition. They competed against other high achieving students across Australia.
They were assessed on two different learning areas: Numeracy and Literacy. Both assessments measured students’ problem solving and reasoning abilities and required them to use their higher order thinking skills to apply known concepts to new situations.
