GRIP Student Leadership

On Thursday 2 May the Middle School Council representatives went to Uni SA for the GRIP Student Leadership Conference.

Students engaged with many schools across the Limestone Coast and South Western Victoria learning about themes such as how to make our events really matter, the sacrifices of a student leader, how to make improvements to school culture and being a student leadership team that takes steps forward.

Students had the choice of selected short seminars in topics of interest or need and were able to provide valuable insights to areas of improvement in our school.

The leaders will be meeting to discuss our next step of growth. We look forward to evolving some of these ideas back at Tenison Woods College.

Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
