Aspiring Golfers Sweep Placings

15.04.24

The clouds finally opened and answered our prayers for rain on Tuesday last
week, but this was unfortunate timing for our young, aspiring golfers who had
to brave the weather at The Mount Gambier Golf Club. The wet and cold did not
deter the boys that attended, showing great spirit and excitement to show off
their skills. In the Stableford competition, Tenison Woods College almost took a
clean sweep with our very own Jack Pilkington taking away first place, and Ben
Reichelt taking second position. The Come and Try Ambrose competition saw
some fantastic scores being placed, and many new skills being developed in the
coaching clinic leading up to it. Well done to all that attended, with big hopes for
their new skills fostering a love for the sport of golf.

Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
