11.05.22

On Tuesday 10 May, Year 6 Student Leaders, Founder Leaders, Junior School Music Leaders and Year 4 STAR Representatives (Year 3 & Year 5 students had NAPLAN) attended the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre for the Annual GRIP Leadership Conference. While attending the GRIP Conference, the students were learning how to enact actions and build on student ideas to make Tenison Woods College an even better place to learn and be a part of. Students were stretched and encouraged to STEP UP by getting onto stage and perform tasks in front of 400 students from around the South East. Tasks included posing as emoji’s, karaoke and dancing. All students enjoyed the day and learnt many wonderful skills to improve and enhance their Leadership by utilising student voice, student agency and student ideas.

Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
