Wallaby Visit at the ELCC

16.06.21

The Early Learning and Community Centre MacKillop Room have been learning more about Native Australian Animals. As part of this, the children recently had a visit from Wildlife Rescuer, Simone, who brought with her two five-month-old Rock Wallabies!

Simone explained her role in caring for injured wildlife, while the children got to see, pat and hold the joeys. The children were also lucky enough to be invited to name the two baby boy joeys as 'Rocky' and 'Wally'.
