Kyle Maney Secures Carpentry Apprenticeship

Congratulations to 2021 Year 12 student Kyle Maney on securing a carpentry apprenticeship with McManus Builders. Kyle was offered the apprenticeship after leaving an impression during a two week trial this month. Kyle has completed a TAFE course, Certificate II in Construction Pathways as part of Year 11. In addition to this, at the start of 2020 he obtained a school-based retail traineeship working at BOC Gas, which also involved completing Certificate III in retail, while also doing his research project for Year 12 via the Flexible Learning Program (FLP) at the College. Kyle is hoping to complete a business and drafting course in the future.

The College congratulates Kyle on all his achievements, the College wishes him all the best for his bright future. Kyle would like to sincerely thank all the teachers involved for all their help along the way.
