Year 11 Child Studies
Stage 2 Child Studies caters for a wide range of practical skills, learning styles and learning abilities. Students will develop skills and knowledge on contemporary childhood issues and Child Development.
The course is engaging through the inclusion of both individual, and group tasks. Students will develop their practical skills by designing activities for children, creating toys and books that assist with a child’s development and learning.
Students demonstrate evidence of their learning through the following assessment types:
Students will be required to bring food or fabrics for practicals.
Students are required to purchase a Child Studies Essential Workbook (approx. $32)
