College Staff feel Positive IMPACT of Personal Development Day

25.07.19

Monday’s Teacher and Staff Professional Development Day saw Dr. Ivan Raymond and Mr. David Kelly from the Life Buoyancy Institute present their “Resilient IMPACT” workshop. (Intentional Model and Practice Approach for Clients to Thrive).

Resilient IMPACT is about empowering and building the capacity of Staff and the College Community to activate the wellbeing, learning and life potential of students. Resilient IMPACT will help students to deal with the challenges of everyday life, achieve the educational and life goals that they set for themselves and form healthy relationships with their peers, family and community.

After a successful workshop with Middle/Senior school Staff in June, Monday’s session included Reception-Year 5, ESO and Admin Staff. Remaining Years 6-12 Teaching Staff gathered at this time, to discuss Learning Imperatives, as well as Action Research Projects. The entire Staff came together at the end of the day, preparing to SHINE in Term 3 and beyond!
