Year 6 students raise awareness by creating Project Compassion Posters

Mrs Sims’ Year 6 class have taken their studies into the Project Compassion Stories one step further by developing their own inquiry into the issues faced by children in disadvantaged countries. The students researched and learnt about child labour, unclean water and other issues that money raisee through Project Compassion adresses.

From their research, students gained a deeper understanding of what these children go through daily. The class were then inspired to create posters to raise awareness of the issues.
