‘Amaya’s Animal Alphabet’ book launch a success

10.04.19

Sunday 7 April saw 13-year-old Poplars student Amaya Gamage launch her first picture book at the Mount Gambier Library. The book, titled ‘Amaya’s Animal Alphabet’ showcases the unique drawings Amaya has created, paired with letters of the Alphabet.

Amaya was supported by staff of Tenison Woods College who attend the launch along with family and friends. Members of the public enjoyed reading Amaya’s book and admired the drawings throughout, as well as the pictures on display around the room.

‘Amaya’s Animal Alphabet’ along with a mug can be purchased from the Front Office for $20.00.
