Year 12 Retreat

In week 8, Year 12 staff and students spent a peaceful 3 days at Cave Hill Creek, in Beaufort Victoria. This was an opportunity to step away from the pressures of work and study and enjoy time together. Students participated in a range of activities that helped them reflect upon their lives until now and prioritise the things they value as they move through the rest of Year 12 and life beyond school. Thank you to Chloe Shanahan for coordinating this event and to all staff who attended as leaders. The feedback from students and parents indicates that this is a significant event in the faith and life formation of our young people.

Stations of the Cross

This Friday evening March 29, the Stations of the Cross will be re-enacted at St Paul’s Church at 6:15pm, by a group of Junior School students. This is a prayerful pilgrimage-type commemoration of the story of the events of Good Friday – Jesus’ last day.

All families and friends are encouraged to join us for this event.

Palm Sunday – Family Mass

This year, Palm Sunday is celebrated on 14 April, which is the second Sunday of the month. Family Mass is normally celebrated on the fourth Sunday, however; due to the school holidays we will have it on Palm Sunday this year. Please keep this date free as we would like to see as many children there as possible.

Parish Mass

Mass is celebrated in the Tenison Woods College Chapel every Thursday at 9.00am during the regular school term. All members of the community are invited to attend. Each week the Mass is attended and led by a different year level.

The roster for the remainder of the term is:

Week 9 – Thursday 28 March – Year 10 (please note the changed date)
Week 10 – Thursday 4 April – Year 9 (please note the changed date)
Week 11 – Thursday 11 April – Year 12
