Year 10's carve it up at Surf Camp

06.03.19

Over the last week Year 10 Outdoor Ed Students have been attending Surfing Camps at Cape Bridgewater.

These camps are held at Bridgewater Bay, over 3 days and include 4 surfing sessions. This is a major practical for the term. Students are assessed on surf skills, techniques and knowledge including wave judgement.

Students are also marked on their 'camp craft', which encompasses, cooking, menu planning, environmental awareness, the set-up and running of camp, risk assessment and overall minimal impact camping.

Students from both Jamie Edward’s and Brad Maney's classes have enjoyed the amazing weather and connections formed while at camp.
