Middle School Awards and Year 9 Graduation

On Wednesday 5 December, Middle School students, staff and families gathered in the Barrie Holmes Stadium to celebrate the achievements of the 2018 Academic Year.
Numerous awards were handed out during the ceremony. These include the Principal’s Awards, Shining Light Awards, Faith in Action Awards, as well as other awards sponsored by the community, such as the Green Triangle Electronics Ecology and Sustainability Awards, and the Lions Club All Rounder Award, which recognises the efforts of two Year 9 students in all facets of their schooling throughout the year.
Mr Ross’s creative talents were on display with a Video Presentation. The ceremony also featured musical performances by Liza Davison and Nadia Munguakonkwa preforming ‘Believing’ and a second act by the Tenison Woods College Guitar ensemble directed by Mike Walsh.
We also celebrated the Graduation of the Year 9 students who will be transitioning into the Senior School in 2019.
The ceremony was a great opportunity for outstanding students to receive recognition for their efforts, and a great chance for students and families to catch up before the end of the school year.
