Giving Tree

Thank you to families, staff and classes who have contributed to the many ‘Share the Joy of Christmas’ appeals and activities across the College in recent weeks. The presentation of the gifts and money under the Giving Tree took place on Wednesday with hundreds of gifts and hundreds of dollars presented to representatives from St Vincent DePaul and AC.Care.

Also on Wednesday a donation of hundreds of cans was made to Foodbank to be distributed to local families and toiletry packs were handed over to the Sunset Community Kitchen for them to distribute with meals.

Later this week 150 packs of homemade goodies with personalised messages will be given to the organising committee of the Community Christmas lunch for their Christmas Day event.  All organisations spoke of the increasing hardship faced by many in our community, which is highlighted at Christmas and expressed their enormous gratitude for the contributions made by the families and staff of Tenison Woods College.

Christmas Eve Vigil Family Mass

On Christmas Eve, a Family Mass will be celebrated at 6:00pm in St Paul’s Church, Penola Rd Mt Gambier.

Children who would like to dress up as a shepherd or an angel are encouraged to do so and take part in the Nativity play as the Gospel is read.
Children who would like a special role in the play are asked to contact Becky Higgins  or Cisca Teodoro at the Parish Office.

There will be a practice for those with a main character role on Saturday 22 December at 10.50am-11:30am in the Church.
