Congratulations to Mackinlee Futcher and Rosie van Eyk

28.11.18

On Friday November 23, at the Elder Hall Adelaide University, two of our talented students won awards and competitions for their Chinese Language learning.

An amazing effort and big congratulations to Rosie van Eyk and Mackinlee Futcher who were invited to attend Friday night’s Award night to receive their prizes from the Chinese Language Teachers’ Association of South Australia (CLTASA)

Mackinlee won 1st Prize in the CLTASA Video Competition 2018 and Rosie received her award for outstanding achievement in her language learning. Rosie also sang a Chinese song in front of a full Elder Hall.

The CLTASA Chinese Language Awards are a fantastic way to reward and encourage our students’ language learning achievements. Award winners and their parents attend an inspirational evening of celebration encouraging all in their Chinese language learning. The following morning Rosie entertained the Rundle Mall shoppers with her busking (singing Chinese songs!). She received a great deal of positive feedback from onlookers and it was a great experience.

It was a brilliant effort by Rosie and Mackinlee who were wonderfully supported by Mr Xu.
