End of Year Gifts to Staff - Giving Tree alternative

28.11.18

Families may be considering purchasing a gift to show their appreciation to a staff member who has worked with their child throughout the year. This is not an expectation, but we are aware that many families have opted to do this in the past. As a staff community with a strong commitment to living our faith through social justice, we ask that if families are considering purchasing a gift, that a gift be instead donated to our Front Office Giving Tree. When the gift is placed under the tree, a gift card can be collected from the Front Office Desk to notify the staff member that a gift has been donated to a person in need. These cards will be passed directly on to the staff member or can be placed by you inside a personal card written by your family

Demand on welfare agencies is huge at this time of the year and staff know we need to do as much as we can to support them. The gifts under the tree this year will be donated to St Vincent de Paul Society & AC.Care for distribution to local families this Christmas.
