Blokes Wax for Bowel Cancer

21.11.18

On Tuesday our School Captain, Evangelia Wichmann presented a cheque for $3,800 to the South Australian Health Minister, The Hon. Mr Steven Wade and the Chairperson of the Hospital Board, Mrs Maureen Klintberg at the Mount Gambier and District Hospital. This money was raised by the student initiated “Blokes Wax for Bowel Cancer” and is to be used by the Bowel Cancer Unit at the Hospital for purchase of equipment.

Mrs Klintberg was very appreciative of the innovative fundraiser and would love to see an ongoing association with the College.
