Alice In Wonderland Jnr. Musical A Success

21.11.18

In Week 4, our Stage 1 Creative Arts (Musical) class, along with some of our wonderfully talented Year 4 and 5 students, presented Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jnr. In addition to the onstage characters, students in the Stage 1 class were responsible for costume design (with some also creating individual character costumes), makeup design and application, publicity and promotions as well as backstage responsibilities.

With a total of 58 students involved in our 5 performances, this was a large production with many staff and parent helpers involved.

Our Junior School and Poplars students were treated to special daytime matinee performances, with near sold out audiences on both public performance nights. We are now looking forward to a ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ and special screening of the live DVD from our Wednesday night performance once it arrives from RT Images – students involved with the production can still order their personal copy through Lucy in the Performing Arts Office.

Thank you to all of those that came to Wonderland with us!
