Sharing the Joy of  Christmas

As we move toward the Seasons of Advent and Christmas we are reminded that Christmas is not a season of joy for many in our community who struggle to make ends meet.

At Tenison Woods College we encourage all staff, students and families to share the joy of Christmas with others in a range of ways.  We encourage each family to discuss how they can contribute to sharing the joy of Christmas this year.

Some classes will be preparing food and cards for the Community Christmas lunch.

Giving Tree……Small gifts or monetary donations can be placed under the Giving Tree in the Front Office. At the end of term a presentation will take place to local agencies AC.CARE & St Vincent dePaul. We encourage families to consider purchasing a gift to place under the tree to be distributed to those in need in our local community. Please do NOT wrap gifts.

Sunset Community Kitchen….donations of small toiletry items to be given as gifts at Christmas.

Vinnies Book sale

On Sunday several Middle School students and staff sold pre-loved books and games at the Library Market to raise money to donate to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Over $300 was raised with the money supporting local families in need this Christmas.

Youth Mass

There is a Youth led Mass this Sunday at 11:00am in St Paul’s Church. We would love to see you there.

Sacrament Program 2018-2019
