Tip Of the Week

17.10.18

This week, the tip of the week will focus on the upcoming Parent Teacher Interviews.

Parent Teacher interviews are an opportunity to learn more about your child’s learning, progress and to plan with the teacher how you can support your child. The interviews provide additional information which supports the information provided in PAM in relation to your child’s learning. We encourage you (parents/carers) to take the opportunity to meet with your child’s/ren’s teachers for the interviews in the spirit of continuing to build strong partnerships.

Parent Teacher Interview evening will be held in Week 3 of this term on Thursday 1 November. The interview evening will be held at the College in the Pam Ronan Centre (PRC). For students in Reception to Year 7, interviews will be held between 4.00pm and 6.30pm. For students in Year 8 to Year 12, interviews will be held between 4.00pm and 8.00pm.

Interviews can be requested from Monday 22 October until 8.00am Monday 29 October by visiting the following link https://spring.edval.education. You will then be able to go back online from Monday 29 October, 5.00pm to download your interview schedule.

This term the structure of Parent teacher interviews are as follow:

  • R – 7 interviews are by Teacher Request only. If parents have received a letter with a booking code this is a request to attend an interview by the teacher.
  • Years 9 -11 interviews are for all semester-based subjects.  Parents can request an interview by using their booking code.
