2018 Limestone Coast Choral and Vocal Showcase Results

19.09.18

In week 6, many of our vocal students and choirs competed in the Limestone Coast Choral and Vocal Showcase. This full week of competition is a great way for our students to gain experience in performing as well as receiving feedback from the adjudicators.

Our choirs performed very well with the Primary Choir (Year 3/4/5) coming 1st in their section, the Music Connection (Year 6/7) came 2nd, the Concert Choir came 1st and the Senior Vocal Ensemble achieved a 1st and a 2nd. The adjudicator was particularly impressed with the depth of the choral program at Tenison Woods College.

Our individual students also performed with distinction. Special congratulations to the following students on winning major awards:

  • Monique Holmes (Monaghan Award and Most Promising Performer Award)
  • Amaya De Silva (Encouragement Award Under 12)
