Students make a difference to a global movement

01.08.18

Days for Girls is a global movement which prepares and distributes sustainable menstrual health solutions to girls who would otherwise miss school during menstruation. Locally there is a very active Days for Girls group and we are proud of these students involvement in the cause.

These students have done a fantastic job with the making days, where they have ironed, cut and even sewn products to be donated. As well as this, Baie Perryman organised a Bake Sale at the College raising over $250 for Days for Girls.

Anyone wishing to know more about Days for Girls and how they can help can contact any of the Year 12 students above. Assistance with making days or through donations of flannel for sewing or Bonds knickers would be greatly appreciated. There is also the option of donating at Spotlight Mt Gambier.
