Pentecost

Last Sunday, we celebrated Pentecost Sunday which is commonly referred to as the ‘birth of the Church’. A celebration of the Holy Spirit descending upon the early disciples, filling them with the inspiration and passion to continue to spread the good news of Jesus. This fire of passion carries on in each of us as we are called to respond in love to those we serve in our communities and, importantly, as we serve one another.

Charity Ball

This Friday night, the Year 11 and 12 students will enjoy participating in the 2018 Charity Ball in support of Timor-Leste communities.  The theme of the evening is Gatsby. We look forward to a fun night out.

Stationery Drive

The Junior School STARs are currently holding a Stationery Drive for Timor-Leste. Donations can be made in any of the Junior School classrooms or dropped at the Front Office to be passed on to Rebecca Higgins or Donna Johnson. Stationery packs will be put together by the STARs later this term and taken and distributed by the students attending the Immersion trip in July.

Family Mass

There will be a Family Mass held this Sunday 27 May at 11.00am at St Paul’s Church. If your child would like to help with the singing please email Marie Holmes or Rebecca Higgins and if they would like to read please email Cisca Teodoro, Parish Sacrament Coordinator.

Following the Family Mass there will be soup served in the gathering space of the Church. We would love to see you there.

Youth Mass

The Regional Youth Mass will take place in Penola at 5.00pm this Sunday 27 May followed by a shared tea in the Mary MacKillop Memorial School hall. We hope to see a great turn out of families from across the South East to celebrate the Year of Youth with our young people.
