Jordyn Adams off to Adelaide for Netball Nationals

11.04.18

Year 12 student Jordyn Adams has been selected in the South Australian 17 and under Netball State Team. The team will compete at Adelaide’s Priceline Stadium in April at the National Netball Championships.

The Nationals see teams from each state and territory compete with the competition beginning on Tuesday 17 April and culminating with finals on Sunday 22 April. In 2017, Jordy was selected as a reserve for the team as a bottom age player, however was successful in making the U18 SA Country Basketball squad that competed in April in Townsville in the same year.

This is the first time since 2010 that the National Netball Championships have been played in Adelaide, and although Jordy would love the opportunity to play and travel to another state she will have lots of family and friends supporting her in the stands.

We congratulate Jordy on an amazing selection and wish her all the best!
