Students make waves at the SAPSASA State Swimming Championships

On Friday 23 March, a contingent of Tenison Woods College Students converged on the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre in Marion for SAPSASA Swimming, representing The Lower South East. 10 of 19 squad members were Tenison Woods College Students. Medals were won in both individual and relay races, and strong performances in the heats advanced some of our swimmers into the finals. Well done to these students for their efforts.

  • Aleisha 12yo 50 Backstroke - Silver
  • Ella 13yo 50 Breaststroke - Bronze
  • Mikayla 10yo 50 Butterfly - Bronze

Relays:

  • 13yo Boys Freestyle Relay - Nicholas - Gold
  • 13yo Girls Freestyle Relay  - Ella, Aleisha - Silver

Finals:

  • Mikayla 10yo 50 Backstroke 4th, 50 Freestyle 6th
  • Nicholas 12yo 50 Breaststroke 4th
  • Freddie 11yo 50 Freestyle 6th
  • Ella 13yo 50 Backstroke 7th, 50 Butterfly 7th
  • Keira 11yo 50 Freestyle 8th
  • Annabelle 11yo 50 Breaststroke 8th
