Tip of the Week from your Deputy Principal

28.03.18

Previously the tip of the week informed Parents of the College Calendar and how the Calendar assists in maintaining an up to date approach towards College events, and with what is happening in their child’s life at school. This tip of the week will focus on the Skoolbag App, the information which can be accessed through this app and how to install the app on an electronic device.

FEATURES, NOTIFICATIONS AND CALENDAR

The Skoolbag application provides an extensive range of features which assist in providing information to Tenison Woods College families.

  • Alerts are used to remind parents/carers of events in a simple and timely manner and when required.
  • Push notifications can be set up, to allow information to be directly sent to your device as a notification. You can select your child or children’s year levels, to allow information to be directed to you regarding that particular year level. To view a fact sheet on setting up push notifications, please click here.
  • The College Calendar can also be accessed on Skoolbag using the following steps:
    • Open Skoolbag on your device
    • Select Events.
    • This will open the College Calendar where the events are listed on a daily basis.
    • You are able to scroll through and click on events
    • If you wish to save an event in your personal calendar, you can go into the event and click Add to Calendar

  • Access PAM - Skoolbag also provides a direct link to PAM. Using the unique PAM login, families can log into PAM via the app.

If you have specific questions or queries about the Tenison Woods College Calendar, you can log a support ticket with the ICT department on the College website by following this link: http://www.tenison.catholic.edu.au/contact-ict

I look forward to offering some more tips next week!
