Lent 2018

Through Lent we’re asking for your help to raise money through Project Compassion. By doing so, your donation can help communities around Australia and the world.

With the support of Caritas Australia, proud young Ramingining woman Evangeline has risen to the role of Senior Artsworker at Djilpin Arts Aboriginal Corporation. The facility is now a multi-level contemporary arts centre and major employer for young people in the remote Northern Territory community.

Please donate to Project Compassion 2018 and help provide employment and training for First Australians, allowing them to remain in the country and keep their culture alive, essential for a just future.

A just future starts with your support! You can donate through Project Compassion boxes and envelopes and by visiting the website or phoning 1800 024 413.

Youth Mass

This Sunday the youth of the Parish will be leading the music and readings at the 11:00am mass. Please come along. Anyone wishing to be involved in readings or music for the 3rd Sunday of the month ‘youth-led’ mass is asked to contact Michelle Coote or Chloe Shanahan.

Family Mass

The next family mass will be held on Sunday 25 March. This will be Palm Sunday and will mark the beginning of Holy Week. Children who would like to be involved are asked to contact Rebecca Higgins at the College or Cisca Teodoro at the Parish Office.

Stations of the Cross

On Friday 23 March the Junior School will be leading the Stations of the Cross at St Paul’s Church from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. This will be a simplified, mimed presentation so children of all ages can be involved and follow what’s happening. Students who would like to be involved are asked to contact Rebecca Higgins.

Families are encouraged to attend in preparedness for Holy Week and Easter.

Taste of Harmony Dinner

All members of the Tenison Woods College community are invited to attend the Taste of Harmony Dinner in the Pam Ronan Centre at Tenison Woods College on Wednesday 21 March at 6:00pm. Please bring along a plate of food to share as well as your drinks. Your dish may be from your cultural heritage or it could be an International dish from a place you have visited or would love to visit. The important thing is to join together, share a meal and celebrate our cultural diversity and cultural harmony.
