Open Boys Cricketers Knock-Out Mount High

On Monday 5 March the Tenison Woods College Open Boys cricket team faced off against Mount Gambier High School. After winning the toss, captain Sam Willis elected to bat first. After a gallant 35 overs and an excellent batting performance from Josh Cornolo (48 runs), the College posted a total 183 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. After a fine batting performance, the boys then proceeded to bowl Mount Gambier High School all out for just 103 runs and in doing so, secured a place in the next round of the knockout tournament.

Josh Cornolo (pictured above) was top performer with the bat, with 48 runs while Sam Willis did the damage with the ball, taking 4 wickets.
