Year 7 Canberra Camp Report 2017

On Monday 6 November, Tension Woods College Year 7 Students along with students from Mary Mackillop Memorial School and St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School travelled up to Canberra for the annual Camp.

Our itinerary was full of both educational and fun activities. We went to many amazing places such as the Old and New Parliament House, and the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. Some of our leisure activities included Flip Out, Laser Tag and the AIS. One of the most significant highlights while on the Canberra trip was experiencing the Remembrance Day Ceremony, where we were able to pay our respects to the soldiers who had served our country and those still actively serving.

This trip would not be possible without the outstanding parents who gave up their time to come and help out, but most of all, we would like to thank our amazing teachers who made this experience possible for us.
