Rainbow Disco
Last Friday night 130 Junior School students turned out in support of the Rainbow Disco. This was a great event with heaps of games, prizes and dancing. The ACYF group would like to thank everyone who attended and helped them raise $516.00 to support their trip to the Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Sydney this coming December.

Vinnies Badge Day
Thankyou to all staff and students who assisted with the Badge Day for Vinnies. $1,065.90 was raised to support the St Vincent DePaul Society and the local organisation has passed on their thanks to the College for our support.

Faith in Action Awards Year 6 to 9
The Faith in Action Awards are presented to a student from each grade of the Middle School who has contributed to the betterment of the school or wider community. The nominations for these awards come from parishioners, parents, members of the community, staff or students. If you know a student who you would like to nominate please pick up a nomination form from the Front Office, the Parish office or email Michelle Coote (cootm@tenison.catholic.edu.au) to have one emailed to you. Nominations close Monday 20 November.

Family Mass & Multicultural Lunch
The next Family Mass will be held this Sunday at 11.00am at St Paul’s Church. Please contact Cisca Teodoro by email (mgpsacraments@bigpond.com) if your child would like to be involved. All families are invited and encouraged to attend.

Following the mass this Sunday, there will be a Multicultural Lunch in St Paul’s Hall with food, music, singing and dancing. Please bring along a plate of food from your own culture and join in the celebrations.

All Saints and All Souls Day
This week we celebrate All Saints Day Wednesday 1 November and All Souls Day on Thursday 2 November. During the month of November, we remember the Saints and ask them to pray for us, and we pray for those who have passed. There is a book in the Chapel and all members of the school community are invited to add the names of their deceased family and friends. During the month of November we will keep the people who are named, and their loved ones, in our prayers.

McAuley and Woods House Days
Wednesday 15 November - Woods House Celebration Day  - Woods students wear their PE uniform and have a shared lunch. (This is Fr Julian Tenison Wood’s birthdate)

Thursday 16 November – McAuley  House Celebration Day  - McAuley students wear their PE uniform and have a shared lunch (This is the week after Catherine McAuley’s feast day on November 11) NB change of date from November 10

All masses at the College are held in the Chapel unless otherwise stated. All are welcome to attend.

  • Week 4 (Thursday 9 November) Year 8
  • Week 5  (Thursday 16 November) Year 4/5
  • Week 6 (Thursday 23 November) Year 9
  • Week 7 WHOLE SCHOOL MASS for End of Year 11.00am in Barrie Holmes Stadium
  • Week 8 (Thursday 7 December) Year 6/7
