Parent Teacher Interviews

25.10.17

The Term 4 Parent/Teacher/Student Progress Reviews and Request Interviews will be held on Thursday 2 November (Week 3) in the Pam Ronan Centre.

The Term 4 interview cycle supports staff and parents to make the most efficient use of time to enable the conversations to occur that are most important, based on the learning priorities of our students.

The key points of the Parent/Teacher/Student Progress Review evenings are:

  • New Receptions (who commenced at the start of term 3) – interviews can be requested. If you require an interview, you can use your booking code to request an interview with you child’s teacher.
  •  Reception to Year 7 - interviews will be by teacher request only (your child’s teacher will determine if there is a need for an interview). If you received a letter with a booking code you have been requested to attend an interview by the teacher. Please log on and book an appropriate time.
  • Years 8 to 11 Semester based subjects - Parent Teacher Interviews will remain the same as previous. For all semester based subjects please refer to the Teacher Comments posted on the Parent Access Module (PAM).  If you require an interview, you can use your booking code to request an interview with the specific semester-based subject teacher.
  • Year 8 to 11 Annual Subjects - the interviews will be by teacher request only. If you have not been requested by the teacher for an interview, you will not be able to book to see them during this cycle. Please log in using your booking code to see if a teacher has requested for you to attend an interview to discuss your child’s progress.

For term based subjects, we are confident that through the current reporting cycle, the communication that is reciprocal between the school and the home, and PAM, you will be informed in a manner that complements PTI’s.

Reception to Year 7 interviews will be held between 4.00pm and 6.30pm downstairs in the Pam Ronan Centre. Please be advised that the access to the interviews will be via the main PRC Reception doors (the Common Room doors will be locked). All specialist teachers will be located upstairs in the Pam Ronan Centre as will teachers of students in Year 8 to Year 11.

Please go online to download your interview schedule, or to change your booking times. If you have any questions regarding the event, please arrange a time to meet with me on the night.
